Britwise App does not create an account for you, track you, serve advertising, or send your learning activity to Britwise App servers.
1. Information Britwise App does not collect
Britwise App does not intentionally collect or receive:
- your name, email address, phone number, or account details;
- precise location, contacts, photos, health data, or payment data;
- advertising identifiers or activity across other apps and websites;
- third-party analytics, advertising measurements, or behavioural profiles; or
- your lesson progress, answers, bookmarks, or mock-exam results.
2. Information stored on your device
To provide its features, Britwise App stores learning progress locally on your device. This can include completed lessons, practice answers, bookmarks, flashcard schedules, active-session state, mock-exam results, study goals, target exam date, text-size preference, and reminder time. This information is used only to operate the app for you.
3. Notifications and speech
If you enable study reminders, Britwise App asks iOS for notification permission and schedules a daily local notification on your device. Britwise App does not use a remote push-notification server. You can disable reminders in the app or revoke permission in iOS Settings.
Lesson narration uses the device’s built-in speech technology. Britwise App does not upload lesson text or recordings to its own servers.
4. Sharing and tracking
Britwise App does not sell, rent, or share personal data because the app does not collect personal data. It does not contain advertising or third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs and does not use Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework because it does not track users. Apple may process App Store and device diagnostic information according to your Apple settings and Apple’s own terms; Britwise App does not use that information for advertising or user profiling.
5. Retention and deletion
On-device learning data remains until you use “Reset learning progress” in Settings or delete the app. Notification permission is managed by iOS. Disabling study reminders removes Britwise App’s pending and delivered reminder notifications while retaining your chosen reminder time for convenience.
6. Children’s privacy
Britwise App is a general educational app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults.
7. This website
These policy and support pages do not intentionally use cookies, advertising, or analytics. A website hosting provider may process basic connection information, such as an IP address, to deliver and secure the pages under its own privacy terms.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated if Britwise App’s features or privacy practices change. The effective date above will be revised when a new policy is published.
