Britwise App is an independent educational study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the UK government.
1. Accepting these terms
By downloading or using Britwise App, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Educational purpose
Britwise App provides lessons, practice questions, flashcards, progress tools, mock exams, narration, and optional study reminders. The app is designed to support study and does not guarantee a test result, qualification, immigration outcome, or acceptance by any authority. Users should confirm official requirements through the appropriate government service before relying on them.
3. Licence and permitted use
Britwise App is licensed, not sold, for personal and non-commercial study. Use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement .
You must not:
- copy, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit app content;
- attempt to interfere with, misuse, or reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it;
- use Britwise App for unlawful or fraudulent activity; or
- represent Britwise App content as official government material.
4. Content and availability
We aim to keep the app useful and accurate, but educational content may contain errors or become outdated. Features and content may be corrected, updated, suspended, or removed. Availability is not guaranteed on every device or operating-system version.
5. Notifications
Daily study reminders are optional. You can change their time or turn them off in Britwise App Settings, and you can withdraw notification permission in iOS Settings at any time.
6. Intellectual property
Britwise App, its original educational content, design, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Government facts and other public-domain information remain subject to their respective legal status.
7. Disclaimer and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Britwise App is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated when the app or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
